Some Fresh Air on a Sick Day

I think I am officially sick. Again. I was just sick like 6 weeks ago and I can't believe I am sick again! I totally blame all those playgroups and activities with kids! :) I am just hoping Lily doesn't get sick. Her nose is still runny and she has been SO fussy the last few days, but I can't tell if she is not feeling well or if it is because her sleep schedule is all off. It is amazing how turning the clocks back an hour has messed with her. I didn't notice it so much at the beginning of the year when we traveled or when we moved here -- but then again I kinda started preparing her for the time change in advance and she was a little younger. We have been SO good the last few months keeping her to a sleep schedule, it is a loose schedule, but still pretty reliable. The last few nights she has been up so early and only sleeping about 9 hours at night (compared to the close to 11 hours she normally gets). Yesterday afternoon she took a 4 hour nap!! That is probably why she was up so early again this morning, but I hated to wake her yesterday afternoon because if she is tired and potentially getting sick she needs all the sleep she can get. I tried to get her to go back to sleep this morning, but she was up again 20 minutes later. I begged Chip to take her downstairs and feed her breakfast and let me sleep in a little more. I don't think he was too thrilled with the idea, but he was super nice and I got an extra hour and a half of sleep. I still don't feel right, but I think that helped some!!

Lily and I were supposed to go to story time at Borders this morning, but I did not have the energy to take her down there. However she was so fussy and bored here at home, so we went outside for awhile to mix it up. It is a really nice day today, mid 70s and windy. It has been really warm for November -- last week we broke record highs at 88 degrees, it is normally in the low 70s this time of year. Anyway, I did not want to put a lot of effort into entertaining Lily this morning, so we just threw on some shoes and kicked it outside in our pajamas! :)
She had fun running around chasing and stomping on all the leaves that were being blown off the trees!
Then Grandma got back from her meeting at her house, so she and Lily were racing to touch the fence and back:

My camera somehow got set on a different mode so these pics are kinda washed out, but I think they look kinda cool. It is hard to see, but Lily's little tongue is wagging in the above photo!

Lily was having so much fun

There is a little bump in the grass, like a slight hill. So Lily had to make sure to go up and over the hill each time.
These pictures kinda make the yard look big! :)

Lily ran out to the fence by herself and then was upset that Ga wasn't right behind her!

I know what you mean about the time change AND being sick. It's not just you, there's something weird going around that manifests itself in being extremely tired with only a few other side effects. I've had it and so have several friends. Hopefully Lily will stay well!
