Tornato Watch

This will probably be a short and uninteresting post -- there is not too much going on here. My parents are still staying here while they are waiting for the last few things to get fixed and completed on their house. As I type, Dad is unloading the truck full of their belongings (well like 1/2 their belongings since a lot got left in California) into their house. Mom was there "helping" but then came back here as she realized there was really no point in her being there. :) Hopefully he can get it all unloaded quickly since it is sprinkling on and off and we are supposed to get some severe storms here this evening. They have already issued a tornado watch for the counties west of Fort Worth! Our first tornado watch!! Luckily that is still a ways away from us, but I am watching carefully since there is a chance the watch could extend to the east! It is not really tornado season, but we have both a cold front coming in from the north and some warm air from the south and since it has been unseasonably warm here lately that means tornadoes! Maybe I should go make extra room in the closet since we have guests! :)

Our playgroup this morning got cancelled since a lot of kids are sick. So that was a bummer. Lily really looks forward to getting out of the house. She was so bored and fussy this morning, but it was raining and I really had nowhere to go so she just had to deal.

And later this morning kicking it on the couch eating a pancake while wrapped in a beach towel! She desperately wanted her clothes off and since that normally helps her get into a better mood, I obliged! But is was getting cold, so we played "baby" and I wrapped her in a towel (I was too lazy to go upstairs and get a blanket!) and fed her her sippy cup. It was fun for both of us! While this isn't the best picture, I wanted to post it since it showed her twirling her hair.
