Christmas Eve Walk

This morning, since the weather was so nice -- in the 50s, Lily and I decided to walk to my parent's house to gather their mail and feed their cats. I had the stroller all ready, but Lily insisted on walking. She is such a big girl

She really liked the candy canes set up in front of this house -- she even called them candy canes instead of Santa candy, as she referred to them before

After we took care of business, I told Lily we could stop by the park on the way home. She still insisted on walking herself, but offered to help push the empty stroller.

At the bottom of the slide!
The playground was pretty busy, so we only stayed for a little bit. On the walk home Lily was really falling behind so I asked if she was ready to ride in the stroller and she said "ok mama." As soon as I got her in there her little head tilted to the side and she was ready to pass out! She was so tired!
