Lily's Blah and Christmas Tree!

Yesterday Lily woke up from her nap in a funky mood. First she demanded that she wear her Minnie Mouse dress - her Halloween costume from last year. Since my camera crapped out on me and lost this years Halloween pictures when she was wearing the Minnie Mouse dress again, I was only too happy to oblige. I had been meaning to dress her up again to get pictures, but never got around to it. . .

And showing off some reindeer. She is so excited to play with all the Christmas decorations! Notice how short the dress is on her now -- it is size 12 months!

Then her weird mood continued when she asked for a spoon to eat her crackers with. She was fussy, so I was figured whatever made her happy . . .

Later it got even weirder when we were in the laundry room and she saw her bathing suits hanging and asked her wear her bra, or "blah" as she calls it. At first I thought maybe I misunderstood her, but nope she wanted her bra! She was so happy to wear her bra around with her Minnie Mouse dress!

I can see the battles now . . . her wanting to go to school in some ridiculous outfit with a bra on the outside! That will be a fun fight! :) In fact this morning when she woke up the very first thing she asked for was her bra!! Luckily, she believed me when I told her it was at the cleaners being washed!

This morning we went to get our Christmas tree!! I was so excited, I dressed Lily in a festive outfit so I could get some cute pics of us picking out the perfect tree:

But we just went to Lowes this year, and then didn't have them all set up. plus it was easiest to keep Lily contained in the cart while we opened and looked for a good tree. So these are the pictures I got:

We brought the tree in through the back yard, so Lily was having a blast playing outside and running around:

Notice the cut on her lip? Her lips are super chapped. I am constantly putting carmax or chap stick on, but she is constantly licking it off!

Then Grandma and Grandpa stopped by for lunch -- Grandpa brought us food from the brunch at the course!!

Tonight we'll decorate the tree -- so stay tuned for pictures of the tree and house all decorated!! I love this time of year!
