Christmas Quiz

I got this e-mail full of Christmas themed questions from my Aunt Karen, and since I love all things Christmas I decided to turn it into today's post, rather than just forwarding it on .. . .


1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
paper with pretty ribbons
2. Real tree or Artificial?
real tree all the way -- although this year we'll have both!
3. When do you put up the tree?
The first weekend in December -- usually around the 7th, that way it will still maybe be alive by Christmas!
4. When do you take the tree down?
Depends on how dead it is and if I am ready to move on or not . . . I usually don't want to ever take it down
5. Do you like eggnog?
I don't think so
6. Favorite gift received as a child?
there were SO many good ones, it is hard to pick one
7. Hardest person to buy for?
My Mom. She has everything and doesn't like much (I mean that in a nice way) :)
8. Easiest person to buy for?
Lily and Linda
9. Do you have a nativity scene?
No
10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
Mail! I love sending Christmas cards!
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received.
Not sure, I don't think I've ever gotten a bad gift -- all gifts are good to me! :)
12. Favorite Christmas Movie?
Again, there are so many! "Miracle on 34th Street" or "The Christmas Story" or "Home Alone"! I can't pick one
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
November -ish
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
Nope
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
Cookies!!!!!!!
16. Lights on the tree?
Heck yeah!
17. Favorite Christmas song?
I don't have a favorite song, but I have a favorite album, Pretty Paper by Willie Nelson
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
I like to stay home, I am a sucker for traditions -- although that is all changing this year since "home" is totally new and different!
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Dasher,Dancer, Prancer, Donner, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Blitzen and Rudolph . . . I think that is all of 'em
20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
Star
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Use to be both, now it is more about Christmas morning
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
that it has to end . . . :)
23. Favorite ornament theme or color?
souvenir ornaments -- the ones that represent a place or event. Those are obviously more special than the ones I got at Target. The best ornament ever -- "Sputnik" is at my Moms
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner?
lasagna, but I am often overruled on that one! :)
25. What do you want for Christmas this year?
Lots of toys for Lily!!
