I've been wanting to dye my hair darker for some time now. I have been blond for as long as I can remember and it really didn't take any work. But lately my roots have been darker than ever before and growing faster than ever before. I felt like I was lightening my roots every 4 weeks which was too much upkeep for me and not healthy for my hair at all! So, I decided to try to match those nasty roots. It is not that dark, but still the darkest I have ever had it (besides when it was bright red) :)
The flash really makes it look lighter than it is. I think it is pretty dark -- nearly brown, especially in my bathroom mirror!
It is actually a semi-permanent tint. The stylist could tell I was slightly nervous, so she suggested starting out with a tint that will wash out in a month. But I am pretty certain I will go back and have it permanently dyed!
