Bright and early on Saturday morning Lily and her team, the Kangaroos -- or just The Roos, as they are known, had their first game!! It was a lot of fun. To make it even better, a cold front came through the night before so it was in the high 60's! A much needed break from the summer heat., It was a great morning for soccer. Lily was a little more timid than she has been at practice, but she was out there running the field with a huge smile on her face and that is all that matters to me!!
Both teams were in hot pink uniforms, so we had to wear the cover things.
She looks so old and grown up out there.
She was even tended to the goal for a bit.
Danielle enjoyed the fresh air and snacks.
We have a pretty good team and I am SO happy to see Lily enjoying soccer so much this time around!
