I joined a neighborhood book club with some of the moms from playgroup last month. Our book for the month is Something Wicked This Way Comes. I recall buying the book previously in High School, but I never read it. The first night I got the book out I read the first 40 pages . . . . and I haven't picked the book up since. It wasn't bad or anything, I hadn't really even gotten that far into it. It is just that the new fall TV season started and Chip and I are now addicted to playing Mario Kart on the Wii at night after Lily goes to sleep, so I just never got around to reading any more of the book. Anyway I am bring this up now because I am off to read. The meeting is Tuesday!! I can't believe it is already October -- I thought I still had tons of time to read. They said not to worry, a lot of people don't finish or even start the book. It is just a opportunity to get out and drink wine. :) But I'd like to have it read. . . so wish me luck!
Here are some pictures from Gymboree this morning. Today was Lily's best class ever! She participated in all the activities; tried new things and didn't freak out when other kids walked by her! I was so proud of her!

What? You have time to read?! Glad that you and Lily are keeping busy and both making new friends. Mario Kart sounds like fun. I'll have to look for it.
Have fun with your book club! I miss mine! We met at Chili's every month and had lots of fun. I am too busy right now for one, though I am tempted to start one every few months! You have a great schedule going on,girl! :-)
