Slippers

So far the new slippers we bought yesterday are a success. I think it helps that they are cute pink kitty cats and the sole makes a sound when she walks across the wood floors. That is a plus. There was some confusion at first since typically we only wear shoes to go bye-bye or outside. I told her as we were putting them on that these were slippers, not shoes, and that they were to wear in the house. But she still immediately ran to the door to the garage and wanted to go bye-bye. I said no we are not going bye-bye, so then she ran to the front door and wanted to go outside. I felt kinda bad -- she ran to all three doors that go outside before she finally gave up and just enjoyed wearing the special shoes inside. This morning we wore the slippers again and she did not try to leave the house, and her little toes were nice and warm! So success, for now.

In other news that probably only Aunt Linda and Uncle Scott care about . . . we were looking at pictures in Lily's photo album (as we often do) and of course she pointed out Mama, Dada, Ga and Pa -- but today she said "Uh Cot" as she pointed to Uncle Scott! Sorry Linda, I am still trying to get her to say Aunt Linda, I am sure it will come soon . . . . :)
