Yesterday we went to the "Third Annual Teenie Weenie Halloweenie Party" at the clubhouse in our neighborhood. It was thrown by the neighborhood playgroups. There are 2 playgroups, one on Mondays and one on Tuesdays. We go to the Tuesday group since we have playgroup with MOMS Club on Mondays (their party is next week!). So it was nice to see the people we knew as well as meet a few new people from the neighborhood. My mom came with us to see all the little kiddos in their costumes, and of course they all looked cute. But honestly I think Lily was the cutest! She looked so cute in her little Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader outfit. And I especially loved the pigtails -- hopefully she'll allow me to put those in again soon and often! I didn't get any good pictures of her in the house, but for some reason she stopped to pose in the garage on the way out. So we had a mini photo session in the garage! (thanks Mom, for dancing around and getting her to smile!) :)
Since the Elmo costume didn't work out, we had an Elmo treat pail -- at least he was represented somehow!
Now I know the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders wear white cowboys boots, but it is hard to find white boots after labor day -- even here in Texas! Luckily we had these great boots that my Aunt Karen gave to Lily. The once belonged to my cousin's daughter, Katie, but now fit Lily perfectly! I couldn't fathom painting them white -- so I decided black would have to do and I think it works just fine!
It looks like she is dancing -- but she is just trying to walk in the grass with the boots! It took her a little while to get use to walking in them, but by the end of the day she totally had the hang of it.

Look! Lily is almost in the bounce house -- and there are other kids inside bouncing!! She totally wanted to go, I was so proud of her!! She didn't sit there too long, but just the fact that she got that close is a huge deal!
