With Fall starting to set in here, I desperately needed to get Lily some new clothes. It is not super cool yet but she has recess at school first thing at 8:45am and at that time last week it was still in the low 60s (but 80s by 6pm). So we needed some pants and any other Fall/Winter clothes we happened to find, so we went to the mall. Lately Lily doesn't want strollers or carts, she is all about "walking like a big girl. I will behave." she says. And while she is pretty well behaved, it just takes that much longer to get anything done -- it already takes an extra 3 minutes getting in and out of the car since once I get her out, we have to walk to the passenger side where she has to get her (imaginary) baby out. Then we repeat the process in reverse when we leave. Don't get me wrong, it is adorable, but it gets a little old when I am in a hurry and she has to buckle in her "baby." So last night and all morning I told her over and over that if she just rode in the stroller without complaining and getting out that when we were all done shopping she could ride the merry-go-round! For some reason, I've never stopped to let her ride and she has never asked. But she was SO excited and she sat nicely while we shopped for nearly 2 hours! It was amazing -- I am wondering how long this bribe will be effective?

It actually started going pretty fast, so I moved in to keep a hand on her. Plus I was getting dizzy riding backwards and taking photos.
